htpasswd Program is used to password protect a directory. (Unix Only) The program creates the .htpasswd and .htaccess files for your protected directory or folder. The users are added by the administrator. An email is sent to the user informing them of the new access to your site or program and is sent their login details. The email uses a template that is easily edited to your liking.
